Description
What is the purpose of a cat-back exhaust system?
A cat-back exhaust system replaces components after the catalytic converter, enhancing exhaust flow and sound for your vehicle.
Can I install this exhaust myself?
Professional installation is recommended for the GIB Cat-Back to ensure optimal fitment and performance for your truck.
The Gibson GIB Cat-Back - Super Truck is engineered for truck owners seeking an exhilarating driving experience, backed by a score of 8 for exhaust note/sound. This Super Truck Exhaust System utilizes advanced engineering for superior performance. Trust in this cat-back to deliver aggressive tones and enhanced responsiveness.
What Owners Say
Owners and enthusiasts consistently praise Gibson cat-back systems for delivering a deeper, more aggressive tone without the annoying in-cab drone that plagues many aftermarket exhausts. Truck owners running both 5.3 and 6.2 engines report satisfaction across multiple vehicles, with sound quality frequently compared favorably to Flowmaster systems at roughly half the price. The exhaust provides noticeable sound enhancement by eliminating rear mufflers and resonators, though some buyers note the trade-off: aftermarket cat-backs on certain trucks can introduce a slightly "ricey" character that requires careful consideration of personal preference. Gibson has built a solid reputation among enthusiasts seeking quality sound improvement and value without sacrificing daily drivability.
