What Owners Say
Owners and enthusiasts consistently praise the AWE Touring Axle-Back for delivering an aggressive cold start followed by a refined, drone-free tone during normal driving. The exhaust strikes what many consider the "perfect amount of loud"—noticeable and sporty without being obnoxious in residential areas. Most report excellent fitment that aligns properly on the first attempt, though some users have experienced inconsistent quality control with alignment issues. The sound character is frequently described as angry when cold but civilized once warmed up, with minimal cabin drone even during highway cruising. At $1,695, it's earned a strong reputation among the performance community as a well-engineered option for those seeking enhanced sound without the harshness of louder alternatives.
