What Owners Say
Owners and enthusiasts consistently praise the AWE SwitchPath for its exceptional build quality and versatile sound character—delivering a deep, throaty tone with valves closed that avoids highway drone, while opening up to an aggressive growl in sport mode. Many highlight the refined startup note that eliminates the factory "lawnmower" sound, particularly when paired with downpipes for optimal tone. Some users note that non-resonated midpipe combinations can introduce low-mid range cabin drone, suggesting careful consideration of supporting modifications. The system earns strong marks for its dual-personality design, allowing daily drivability without sacrificing performance sound when desired, cementing its reputation as a premium exhaust solution for discerning BMW M owners.
